Delivery
How much is delivery?
A flat $320 per container to any address in the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C. It is added at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 5–7 business days after payment clears: 1–2 business days to handle the order and about 4–5 business days in transit. We confirm the date with you before dispatch.
Do you deliver to Alaska or Hawaii?
Not through online checkout. Email sales@bluerockcontainers.com and we will tell you whether delivery can be arranged.
What does my site need?
A clear route at least 14 feet wide, 16 feet of overhead clearance and level, firm ground. Full details are in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Do I need a permit?
It depends on your town or county. Permits are the customer’s responsibility, so check with your local planning office before ordering.
Containers
What is the difference between new and used?
New (one-trip) containers have made a single overseas trip. Used containers are graded as cargo-worthy or wind and watertight. Our Buyer’s Guide explains each grade.
What is a high cube container?
A container that is 9 ft 6 in tall instead of 8 ft 6 in, giving about one foot of extra height.
Can you modify a container for me?
Yes. Browse our modified containers or email us with what you need. Custom work requires a 50% deposit before fabrication starts.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. New (one-trip) containers are covered for 5 years and used containers for 3 months against structural defects. See our Warranty page.
Orders and payment
Which payment methods do you accept?

Is sales tax included?
Sales tax is added only for delivery addresses in states where we are legally required to collect it, and is shown at checkout before you pay. See our Sales Tax Policy.
Can I cancel or return my order?
You can cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of payment clearing, and start a return within 30 days of delivery. Some items, such as custom-modified containers and reefers, cannot be returned. See our Returns & Refunds Policy.
