Summary: you can start a return within 30 days of delivery. Approved refunds are paid within 14 days of us receiving the returned container.
Returns
- Start a return within 30 calendar days of the delivery date by emailing sales@bluerockcontainers.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- Once we approve the return, we send you a return authorization. The container must be ready for collection within 7 days of approval.
- The container must be in the same condition as when it was delivered, empty and clean.
- Return transport is paid by the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, or damage or a defect we confirm).
- The original $320 delivery fee is not refunded unless the return is due to our error.
Items that cannot be returned
- Containers with custom modifications (doors, windows, insulation, paint, electrical, HVAC, shelving).
- Refrigerated containers (reefers).
These items are still covered if they arrive damaged or are not as described.
Refunds
We inspect returned containers when they arrive. Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method within 14 days. Your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to show the money in your account.
Damaged or wrong items
- Write any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing and take photos.
- Tell us within 48 hours of delivery, including for damage you only notice after delivery.
- We will arrange a repair, a replacement or a full refund including delivery.
Cancellations
- Within 24 hours of payment clearing: full refund.
- After 24 hours but before dispatch: refund minus a 15% cancellation fee to cover allocation and scheduling costs.
- After dispatch: the order cannot be cancelled, but the 30-day return policy above applies.
- Custom-built orders cannot be cancelled once fabrication has started.
